Javanese Coffee,

Javanese coffee was once a global term for high-quality coffee due to the history of Javanese coffee exports to Europe since the 17th century, and known as the one of the best coffee in the world till now. Java is one of the oldest coffee production centers in Indonesia and even the world. Javanese coffee is grown in highly land and lower land in Jaca Island and known for its distinctive spicy flavor. Most Javanese coffee is wet processed, resulting in a cleaner, and lighter flavor.


Javanese coffee is both Arabica and Robusta Coffee that grown up in the Java Island for the long time, so has the spicy flavor as its special character. Javanese coffee in Arabica variety is grown in highland 1.000 m above the sea and sensitive with temperature change. It has the slight aroma and complex taste, low cafein and high acidity, with floral and fruity aroma like nut, chocolate, citrus, and vanilla (with spicy flavor); and used for specialty coffee and brews. Javanese coffee with Robusta variety is grown up in lowland between 400-800 m above the sea and has longlife character. It has strong aroma and bitter taste, high cafeine and low acidity, with earthy and bold body flavor (with spicy flavor); and used as instant coffee and espresso.
